Dr. Elie Metri is a Lebanese-born, Saudi-based technologist, entrepreneur, and one of the Middle East’s most prominent voices in robotics, artificial intelligence, and deep-tech localization. He is the Founder, CEO, and Executive Board Member of QSS AI & Robotics, the Saudi company behind the first locally made humanoid robots SARA, MOHAMAD, and the industrial humanoid MOSAED, as well as advanced autonomous systems, drones, and AI platforms.
He is also the CEO and Executive Board Member of VOLT Charge, the first Saudi EV-charging technology manufacturer recipient of Saudi Arabia’s first-ever industrial design certificate for a locally made smart charger.
Dr. Metri is widely recognized for his leadership in accelerating Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 technology ambitions. He has become a global ambassador for Arab innovation, collaborating with major government authorities in Saudi Arabia and international organizations such as the United Nations (ITU) and WAICF, where he serves as a key regional ambassador.
He has been featured on magazine covers, awarded Best CEO for AI & Robotics, invited to speak at global stages including TEDx & AI for Good, and recognized by LinkedIn as a Top Voice in AI & Robotics.
